Lions Recycle For Sight
Our new La Porte Lions Club is excited to announce our first major community service project partnering with LPISD to recycle eyeglasses and support vision initiatives for local students.
Glasses that would otherwise sit in a drawer are collected and put back into use. A pair you have stopped wearing is worth something to someone who needs it.

Glasses you no longer wear can be put back to use. Get in touch and we will tell you what we can take and where to drop them off.
One project, and a start
Recycle For Sight is our first major project, not our last. As the club takes on more work in La Porte, it will be listed here with what it involves and how to help.
Our projects are designed to create local impact while supporting the wider Lions tradition of service. Activities often include community support efforts such as vision related programs, food drives, scholarships, and disaster relief support, along with fundraisers and events that bring people together for good.
