The La Porte Lions Club is a volunteer service club in La Porte, Texas.
Neighbors who show up
We are a new club, made up of people who live and work in La Porte. Our projects are our own and they are chosen here, but they sit inside the wider Lions tradition of service that clubs around the world have been part of for a century.
Being new means we are still building. It also means there is room, and that anyone who wants to help shape what this club becomes can do that now rather than joining something already finished.
Our mission
Our mission is simple: serve our community with compassion, integrity, and action. We look for real needs in La Porte and respond through service projects, fundraising, and partnerships that help people and strengthen our community.

What we do
Our projects are designed to create local impact while supporting the wider Lions tradition of service. Activities often include community support efforts such as vision related programs, food drives, scholarships, and disaster relief support, along with fundraisers and events that bring people together for good.
Lions Recycle For Sight
Our new La Porte Lions Club is excited to announce our first major community service project partnering with LPISD to recycle eyeglasses and support vision initiatives for local students.
