What we do
Our projects are designed to create local impact while supporting the wider Lions tradition of service. Activities often include community support efforts such as vision related programs, food drives, scholarships, and disaster relief support, along with fundraisers and events that bring people together for good.
Lions Recycle For Sight
Our new La Porte Lions Club is excited to announce our first major community service project partnering with LPISD to recycle eyeglasses and support vision initiatives for local students.

Our mission
Our mission is simple: serve our community with compassion, integrity, and action. We look for real needs in La Porte and respond through service projects, fundraising, and partnerships that help people and strengthen our community.
One town, and the club that serves it
The La Porte Lions Club is a La Porte club. We are not a regional organization with a branch here. The map is the whole of it: the streets our members live on, and the town our projects run in.
Our first major project, Lions Recycle For Sight, collects eyeglasses in partnership with La Porte ISD and puts them back into vision programs.
